| Team USA falls in thriller in Serbia |

| In another thrilling match, the Serbian Davis Cup team has advanced to the quarterfinals. John Isner forced a 5th set by taking the 4th set tie breaker, but couldn't hold off the World No. 2, Novak Djokovic. Djokovic gave his team a trip to the quarterfinals, defeating Isner 7-5, 3-6, 6-3, 6-7(6), 6-4. Sam Querrey defeated Troiki 7-5, 6-2 to give Team USA it's second point of the weekend. Team USA will play in the Relegation Tie in September. They must win that tie if they want to stay in the World Group. Congratulations to John and Sam on an amazing weekend of tennis in Serbia. Welcome to the team, guys! |
